Antiques on Main Street

Florence, Colorado is known as the “antique capital of Colorado.” It has long been a destination for those seeking unique vintage finds. The Junktique Antique Show and Flea Market is expanding the town’s antique reputation by turning Main Street into Colorado’s premier outdoor antique and vintage show event. Vendors will be lining Main Street for blocks, showcasing their unique treasures.

As you walk down Historic Main Street, you’ll be transported back in time. A myriad of antique items are just waiting to be discovered. You’ll find everything from antique furniture and decor to handmade crafts, vintage clothing, and salvage items. But the Junktique Antique Show and Flea Market is not just about antiques. It’s also a great opportunity to support local artisans and pick up some one-of-a-kind handmade items.

Of course, there will be plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained! In particular, fun things for the kids to do. Food trucks will be available to satisfy your cravings. Music will be playing throughout the day to create a festive atmosphere. And with drawings and prizes, you might just walk away with something special!

Explore Florence

While you are visiting Juntique and browsing the vendors, take the opportunity to explore the historic town of Florence. Florence was founded by James McCandless in 1876. Many people have lovingly restored the numerous historic buildings that now call Florence home. Take a stroll down Main Street, and you’ll find charming storefronts, antique lampposts, and beautiful murals adorning the walls of buildings.

Additionally, if you’re a history buff, you’ll love visiting the Florence Pioneer Museum and Research Center. Housed in the old St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the museum showcases the rich history of Florence and the surrounding area, with exhibits ranging from early settlers to mining history.
